Kinovea is free and open source software, its building blocks are subject to various licenses according to the following scheme :


Software and Source Code

You will find the text of the license in the installation directory, file GPLv2.txt

Kinovea embeds external libraries that may be subject to other licenses :

- FFMpeg (avcodec-51.dll, avformat-51.dll, avutil-49.dll ) : license GNU LGPL.
- AForge.NET ( AForge.dll, AForge.Imaging.dll, AForge.Math.dll ) : license GNU GPL version 2.
- ExpTree (ExpTreeLib.dll) : Please contact the author for code reusing.
- FileDownloader.cs : license BSD.

Graphics and Images

Icons and graphics, including the Kinovea logo, are subject to the License Art Libre (LAL).

    Users manuals are subject to the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL).
