It has it's own category of "Basler USB3 Vision Cameras". If Kinovea uses Device Manager categorization as a means of finding connected cameras, this will always fail.

I get camera imagery using the Pylon viewer. I used the custom install of Pylon and checked the C .Net stuff. Installed version Basler_pylon_6.2.0.21487 of Pylon.

I downloaded Kinovea.Basler-1.3.0 from Kinovea site and placed a copy of the Basler folder at C:\Users\ssblount\AppData\Roaming\Kinovea\Plugins\Camera\.

I am using Kinovea 2023.1.2. It never sees the Basler camera under the Camera tab. It only sees my Toshiba web cam, but generates an error message in the log file with some kind of insufficient permission failure.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
