Hi
Kinove is truly great software.

To enable the advanced frame rate you have to create the cleye.config text file with the following content:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<cleye>
    <item name="mode" value="advanced" />
</cleye>

1) Download and install driver from: http://codelaboratories.com/downloads
2) Open Notepad
3) Copy and paste Content above
4) Save as cleye.config in Kinovea folder in Program Files

your cam should be able to diplay

- 640x480 fps: 15, 30, 40, 50, 60, 75
- 320x240 fps: 15, 30, 60, 75, 100, 125

Hope I helped

I also placed a copy of the file here:
http://www.kinovea.org/setup/externals/cleye.config
Right click + save as.

Hi Wermouth,
Wonder if you can help me with this as am having trouble.
I have installed the driver & created the text file as described above but I'm not seeing any frame rate option greater than 30fps.
I've copied the cleye.config file to c:/program files (x86)/kinovea does it need to go into a subdirectory or just the kinovea root?
Do I need to reinstall the driver after creating this file or do anything else?
Did notice that when saving the file I had various options for encoding, I set this to UTF-8 I assume thats correct?
Also just noticed that the file is saved as a .txt file (cleye.config.txt) is that correct if not how do I change it as there is nowhere in notepad to specify the file extension.

Solved.
For anyone else out there struggling with this try having a look here http://codelaboratories.com/forums/viewthread/842/
there are a few other threads on this forum worth reading as well.

187fps at 320x240 and 75fps at 640x480 without cleye.config
