I read the section on this subject in the documentation for cameras where this occurs. I am curious to know if this skews measurements for speed, time or distance that are shown. In other words, if I am tracking the distance of a ball, is it actually different than being shown by the software as it gets to the edge of the visible screen due to curvature seen with barrel distortion?

Just noticed this feature on the software. I do alot of video work with "ball" sports and was wondering what the coordinate system might be used for by others.

Thanks! smile

Joan,

I noticed this has been resolved and is in "r268". Does that mean it's available somewhere as a download?

Thanks Joan. smile

I think the software is terrific!

Keep up the good work! wink

Is it possible to get the software to display the correct speed with non 29.97 fps? I have a ball speed in excess of 40 mph that is showing as 7 or 8 mph with video originally shot at 210 fps. And yes, I did change the frame rate prior to measuring.

Thanks!
