I've purchased a couple of PS3 cameras, but am unable to get them listed in the cameras section on Kinovea.

I followed these instructions:

1) Download and install driver from: http://codelaboratories.com/downloads
2) Open Notepad
3) Copy and paste Content:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<cleye>
    <item name="mode" value="advanced" />
</cleye>
4) Save as cleye.config in Kinovea folder in Program Files

I believe I have done all of the above correctly, and when I open the CL-Eye test, the camera display appears, but when opening Kinovea, it only displays my built in webcam. I've tried opening Kinovea and then adding the cameras, and vice versa, but no joy.

Can anyone offer any advice please?

I am still looking for some help with this, does anyone have a contact who might be able to assist? I am very happy to pay for someone’s time to help get this resolved.

I don´t know this cam, but it´s Sony, so I´m pretty sure they do their own SDK,  I guess it falls into the same category: https://www.kinovea.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1032

The driver from CodeLaboratories only works for Windows 32 bit.

Try with this one instead: https://github.com/jkevin/PS3EyeDirectShow/releases
