I am a 3D animator. I have just been introduced to the kinovea software. I installed version 2023.1 but no sound is playing. No matter how much I searched for sound and volume settings, I couldn't find them. I wanted to know if the software doesn't support sound by default or if I have a problem. I installed an older version and version 2024, but the problem was the same.

Yes, the program still doesn't support sound at the moment.

Hi, I’m in the same boat. I recently started using Kinovea too and noticed that there's no audio playback, no matter which version I try. From what I’ve gathered, it seems like the software simply doesn’t support sound by default. It would definitely be useful if it did, especially for syncing animations or analyzing dialogue.
