This is amazing software. I am just a little too dim to understand the calcs here.

I have read nearly all the forums and cannot seem to get my head around solving for the following:

i would like the speed slider to stay at 20% on auto playback

I am happy to set up the config any way to get this as any slower and I have to manually move the slider to see my swing move
So I am sure I am doing something wrong.

My capture settings:
Delayed records delayed frames
Display frame rate 30
high speed camera -- framerate replacement threshold = 235
Replacement framerate = 30

My cameras are showing a signal of 300 FPS with a through put of  21.mb/s
both cameras are set to an image size of 64-0x360
and a frame rate of 300

The second instance of Kinovea is for playback and shows the playback screens are showing 30FPS

Since you are recording a high speed camera the resulting video plays back in slow motion. In your case at 10% of the original action (30/300).

Are you saying that the speed slider resets itself to be in the middle when you open a new video and you have to manually slide it right to 20% or is it something else? What version are you using?
