Hi all,

I would like to just ask about AVCHD videos. I'm using .MTS formats, but the problem is still, that the video is too fast, and the back to previous frame button does not working. For normal speed i should to slow down the video with 50% procent.

.MTS is a very compressed file and is not a file format usually used for editing or easy processing by most applications. I would try converting the file to a .mov file using an Apple ProRes codec and that may work a lot better. Just a thought! I use a Panasonic HD camera for some of my work (not Kinovea filming) which produces .mts files and I convert them before doing anything with them.

Hi,
Regarding your first message, there are some reported issues with AVCHD, but I think "twice too fast" is a first.

What is the camera brand and model that produced the files ?
Do they play back fine in VLC or other players ?
Do you use version 0.8.15 or 0.8.19 ?
Could you send a small sample (filming a clock for example) to joan at kinovea dot org. (For testing).

Thanks

Hi,

I tried to send the Sample via e-mail, but i got a autoreply from the server, with some error. So i couldn't send to you.

I just reply here to your questions.
This wasent my camera, so i don't know the model name. But i got other videos in AVCHD and It made it by JVC and SONY and problem was the same.
I'm Using 0.8.19 version.
Other players... So so. I'm using only Media Player Classic with Divx Codec. Speed is ok, but quality of the video is not so good.
I tried SPLASH (by Mirillis), and with that was perfect. Any problem. But they don't have slow motion and step by step option. Only for play.
I have x64 bit system.
