Hi, I just started checking out Kinovea and wonder whether it is supporting OBS Studio's virtual cam. As the virtual cam is not displayed in the camera list (OBS Studio running) and I did not found something in the forum or web I assume it does not but if someone knows better pls let me know.

It's not supported at the moment. It's crashing the program for some reason so it's explicitly detected and removed from the list until I figure out where the problem is coming from.
Actually i tried the same and yes its not supported. Hopefully soon or later it will be fixed. I have been using OBS Studio Platform currently to live stream on Facebook with few functionalities. Don't know much but you can also use Xsplit as a alternative till issue is being faced with OBS. You can also check Xsplit vs OBS to get into some knowledge regarding these both software.

I use the window capture feature to bring in my kinovea display to OBS
