I know you can view two video clips side by side.  Is it possible to overlay one video on top of the other?

overlay would be great! also a "stoboscop effect" would be awesome!!!

Hi,

Overlay as in placing one video on top of the other during synchronisation has been added in the latest experimental version.
Please check the 0.8.4 thread.

For stroboscopic effect, it's not implemented yet, but maybe in the meantime you can play with the Mosaic filter in menu "Motion > Mosaic".

strobe like?  do you mean "stop action" 

If you do mean stop action toy with how to make Key images (a slide) and how to save as slide show using Key images you made. 

BUTT....  Im no expert.  been at this only few hours. So far Im not getting slide show to work like I want but probably thats user error.
